It is a beautiful e-book! Mr. Duncan and Mr. Burns have achieved a wonderful job telling the history of our National Park system. The guide clearly reveals the depth of the 30-odd years that they have been engaged in their project. Because the sub-title of the book signifies, that is “an illustrated history.” The illustrations alone are definitely worth the worth of the book. You will not see the usual travel guide and brochure pictures in this book. As a substitute you will find hundreds of historic and modern photographs of the National Park system. I can not think about the quantity of research that went into meeting and organizing all of these photos. They’re simply gorgeous.
